What is the Demodyfi DEX?

The Demodyfi DEX is our vision to bring financial stability, liquidity, and accessibility to the masses. It is a next-generation DEX built with an infrastructure that gives you control. Control over your assets. Control that is combined with ease-of-access and a well thought out user interface.

The Demodyfi DEX is to be the go-to platform for the following:

Finance-oriented dApps
Smart contract implementations
Protocol integrations with plug-and-play cross-chain capabilities, security, and financial optimizations

How does the Demodyfi DEX benefit you?

The technological achievement the $DMOD team has worked tirelessly on is incredible! But, the most important question on your mind is how will the release of the DEX benefit you. We have two answers for you!

1. Simplicity

One of the biggest problems facing the entire crypto market is the barrier to entry. This is an issue across all chains.

To help ease the barrier to entry, the Demodyfi DEX is designed to on-ramp both entry-level and advanced users.

Why is this important? Lowering the threshold and making the network accessible to everyone — regardless of experience — helps bring in more users. More users means more volume.

2. Low gas prices

If you’ve used the Ethereum network, then you already know how high the gas prices are for transactions. You might be lucky to see prices as low as $30 USD, and other times you might see them around $200 USD. In some events, gas prices have almost risen to $1,000 USD!

The Demodyfi DEX is providing a solution to lower gas prices for all users on the platform. The answer lies in two pieces of the underlying technology that Demodyfi is built on:

Polkadot Network

The Demodyfi DEX uses the Polkadot network’s advanced substrate technology. This means a better framework for building on the Polkadot system. Plus, it takes advantage of Polkadot’s mission to connect different chains.

Moonbeam Chain

The next piece is the Moonbeam chain. This important chain helps combine network services into one place. Once these network services have been aggregated, they can then be presented to the users.

Why does this matter? Moonbeam is a smart contract platform. One way we use Moonbeam’s technology is to utilize mechanisms (EVM and XCMP) in place for our DEX. Another aspect is that we can use these smart contract implementations that would allow us to support the transfer of tokens to the Moonbeam chain from Ethereum / Polygon and parachains as well.

In turn, it will help bring assets to the Polkadot ecosystem and other parachains — such as Acala and vice versa! Moonbeam is full of many possibilities, and these are just some features of many we have access to!

By combining Polkadot and Moonbeam together, the Demodyfi DEX is capable of combining the different network services across different chains. It also provides a much lower gas price that would not be possible on networks such as Ethereum. Providing these lower gas prices helps you to enjoy and use dApps more freely!
